The English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association (ESSFTA) is the official American Kennel Club (AKC) parent club for the English Springer Spaniel.

ESSFTA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to upholding the integrity of the Parent Club by promoting the sport of purebred dogs and breeding for type and function. Founded in 1926, ESSFTA advocates for the purebred dog as a field, show, working dog and family companion. ESSFTA works to advance quality breeding, canine health and well-being, protect the rights of all dog owners and promote responsible dog ownership including good sportsmanship.
