The Northeastern Maryland Kennel Club was established in 1985 as an all-breed kennel club centered in the town of Bel Air, Maryland. Today we are proud to be a non-profit member of the American Kennel Club.
The primary role of the Northeastern Maryland Kennel Club has always been to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of purebred dogs and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials. However, today we have broadened our perspective to include anyone who loves dogs and wants to be involved with a dynamic and congenial group of members that enjoys competing in various AKC title events, as well as giving back to the our community.
This is a custom website design and development project that includes a Member Only Section, Paypal Online Renewal, and Member Surveys. The design portion of the project was created in conjunction with Jen Milani of Showtime Design. It includes a customized responsive framework that is designed to the specific needs of Northeastern Maryland Kennel Club’s content, services, and website representation. The client was trained in updating this site.

I met Joan three years ago when the Northeastern Maryland Kennel Club was in search of a new website. Up till then club members were responsible for our website and it just wasn’t working. We need a fresh new design and Joan didn’t disappoint. Joan responded to our “Request for Proposal” and the rest is history.
The fact that Joan was also a breeder and exhibitor of AKC Collies gave us great comfort. Joan spoke our language. She understood exactly what we were trying to achieve and her experience with dog clubs was a major bonus. She makes it fun.
